Illustration blog

School starts this week but this year I’m on the outside looking in!

Now I’m a full time illustrator and am enjoying it enormously but I really do miss the wonderful children and teaching art to them.

Here are some illustrations (school-related and otherwise):

The illustration below is my entry for  Illustration Friday - the prompt is “Gold”.  The inspiration for the illustration is a photo taken by my nephew while he was in Russia.

I’m in the midst of updating all my cyber sites . I’ve got portfolios on Behance, Deviantart plus I post on Twitter, Instagram, Tumbler, LinkedIn and Pinterest.  Take a look there for more illustrations.

Here are some illustrations I’ve done in the last week on the subject of teens-

Finally finished my children’s picture book, “Clickity’s Clock”.  It tells the story of Mrs. Clark’s Kindergarten class and of four children in that class who do not want to go onto first grade and who do not want to grow up.  Mrs. Clark has the only solution: call Dr. H.M.S. Clickity (the almost famous inventor of the seldom seen but powerful Clickity Clock). The book will be released in late August in paperback and ebook on Amazon.
